A grand debate on CPEC at Vice Chancellors Forum arranged on the sidelines of Pakistan China Business Forum, Industrial Expo, Lahore 2019 along with 22 Vice Chancellors and prevalent Higher Education leader’s.
Vice Chancellors Forum on CPEC is organized jointly by Comsats University Islamabad (CUI) and Inter University Consortium aimed to promote sciences and academia Industry linkages forum.
This year’s Vice Chancellors Forum on CPEC topic is “How to put Pakistan on the course to desired economic trajectory?” Muhammad Mumtaz Noor, IUCPSS is the coordinator of the session whereas Muhammad Muazzam shahbaz, Founder and President of Academia – Industry Linkage forum a moderator of VC’s forum.
Academia has an important role to play in China Pakistan Economic Corridor. Pakistani Universities should teach students Chinese language considering the increasing scope CPEC in Pakistan and the opportunities available for youth under the umbrella of CPEC.
The Vice Chancellor forum aimed to build and promote knowledge- driven cooperation in businesses and high-technology transfers through University research and development (R&D) and Industry collaborations, for the mutual benefits of both Pakistan and China.
