The National Skills University Islamabad (NSU) will be signing the ‘UNESCO-UNEVOC Future Foresight Institutional Capacity for Post COVID-19 World’ project hosted by the Higher Colleges of Technology (HCT), UAE, under the auspices of UNESCO-UNEVOC.
The National Skills University Islamabad will be signing the ‘UNESCO-UNEVOC Future Foresight Institutional Capacity for Post COVID-19 World’ project hosted by the Higher Colleges of Technology (HCT), UAE, under the auspices of UNESCO-UNEVOC. The event will feature seven (7) partnering UNEVOC Centers from around the globe, including Higher Colleges of Technology, the United Arab Emirates as the lead organization. Other participating organizations include Waikato Institute of Technology, New Zealand; The National Higher Engineering School of Tunis, Tunisia; University of Management, TISBI, Kazan, Russia; Iloilo Science and Technology University, Philippines; Center for Flexible Learning, Sweden; Arusha Technical College, Tanzania. This event is being held virtually, and besides these seven organizations, several other international partners involved in TVET will be among the audience. This ceremony will be held in Abu Dhabi on 7th February at noon according to a decision taken in the plenary meeting.
The VC NSU Prof. Dr. Muhammad Mukhtar, in his message to colleagues across the world, says that “COVID-19 has pushed us into a digitalized and highly interconnected world. There is an urgent need for future foresight and institutional capacity building across the globe. The National Skills University Islamabad, Pakistan, is looking keenly to share and learn from collegial collaborations in governance, technical and vocational education teaching-learning practices by participating in this UNEVOC Network Coaction initiative.”
