Federal Minister for Science and Technology Chaudhry Fawad Hussain stated that Pakistan could offer land and expertise to United Arab Emirates (UAE) companies who have keen interest to invest agriculture sector of Pakistan.
Chaudhry Fawad Hussain said in a tweet that “We can offer land and expertise to Dubai companies who want to come to Pakistan and invest in the agriculture sector”.
He further said that The UAE is one of the biggest investor in agriculture. We can have lucrative business deals for those UAE companies as these companies are interested in making joint ventures with Pakistan to develop agricultural land on a large scale in Sindh and Punjab.
The joint ventures between Pakistan and UAE in the agriculture sector will benefit both countries. Pakistan has huge cultivatable land while UAE can bring technology that will not only improve per acre yield but also boost supply chain from farm to markets.
UAE-based companies will make their farm-to-market supply chains in Pakistan to provide best quality products to their consumers and as a result it will immensely help in boosting the economy of Pakistan.
It is important to mention here that the Federal Minister for Science and Technology Chaudhry Fawad Hussain was on a visit to UAE where he met with heads of different United Arab Emirates (UAE) companies .
