STAFF REPORT LHR: In order to effectively smooth the process of Hajj
applications, management, and monitoring of Hujjaj an important agreement was

signed between Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony (MoRA and
IH) and Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB).
It is pertinent to mention that it is the third year that PITB is managing all the
information management related tasks for MoRA and IH.
Additional Secretary MoRA and IH, Sajjad Yoosufani inked the MoU with Director
General IT, PITB, Rizwan Rashid.
According to the agreement PITB will be responsible to develop, maintain, and
monitor the data of public as well as private hajj organizers. The helpline for Hujjaj
is also developed by PITB which has brought forth immense convenience for the
Hujjaj in past few years.
