STAFF REPORT LHR: Chief Executive Officer of Buksh Foundation and Director Buksh Energy Pvt. Ltd., Fiza Farhan, has been nominated as the “Future Energy Leader” at the World Energy Council, in recognition of her efforts for the growth of renewable energy sector in Pakistan.
Fiza is a passionate and devoted entrepreneur, who has successfully played a leading role as a specialist in the renewable energy sector. She is actively promoting and advocating the development of sustainable energy resources and initiatives.
“I am excited to be a part of the “Future Energy Leader” (FEL) Programme, which is designed to build on ideas and innovative potential of young leaders in the global energy sector,” she remarked.
The WEC is the largest global network of energy leaders and practitioners dedicated to delivering a sustainable energy system for the greatest benefit of all.
Fiza Farhan remains an active member of the UN Foundations “Sustainable Energy for All” (SE4ALL) Network; she is also an active participant on other international energy networks such as Asian Development Banks “Energy for ALL”, The Energia Network and SEAS.Buksh Foundation and Buksh Energy have maintained strong engagements with the local and international energy forums, organized by various associations and networks.
