Television has always been a potential source of diversified information and awareness. From entertainment, education and information for all groups of ages, television has proved to be a major source of information. As is evident from its title, it will cover science and technology educational activities in addition to popularizing the science and technology subjects through disseminating the relevant information and latest progress to students and common people. At a time when the awareness of people towards science and technology is virtually at a very low level, this web-based television channel is set to play a significant role not only by highlighting the achievements of science and technology students but also researches of known personalities in this sector. Relevant quarters including scientists, academicians and public as well as private institutions are taking this initiative as a right step towards promoting science and technology programme and also highlighting the achievements of students both at primary and secondary education. According to them, this channel would help in introducing the science and technology in various sectors particularly agriculture where conventional farming methods are still in vogue.
