The person behind the largest online network of Pakistan is Ali Chaudary who belongs from Lahore started journey of Urdupoint with friend since 20 years ago. After faced deficit continuously 10 years now became most popular and accessible website.
Approximately 100 million viewers visits website monthly. They have their own news reports in every country and every city of Pakistan for coverage of news.
He said in his interview that Since 20 years ago there was the time when there is only one or two websites published news in Urdu language with no proper presentation and reached limited audience. I saw flexibility in market and decided to launched the idea of Urdu point in Pakistan to reach massive audience and easily accessible for all.
He further said that first 7 to 8 years were very tough for us. Urdupoint went in loss but I had full confident on myself as well product introduced in market. I was pretty sure about that time will come when my product will reluctant in market.
He told that starting days of Urdupoint were really disappointed for me but I am determined. We generated revenues by diverting our traffic towards e-commerce for monetization and posted banners where people purchased. Then Google AdSense came and I earned $300 for the first time.
He informed the real success of Urdupoint is based on my employees. I had only one employer when started and still part of our team from day one. Slowly and gradually many people became part of our team. I choose employers on the basis of capability, skill oriented and much important competency with the organization.
He added that Urdu point signed MOU with Mashable which is a global, multi-platform media and entertainment company. The purpose of this partnership is to generate premium content of Pakistan related on international level with up to mark presentation.
While giving his concluding remarks he said that “you have to be a dreamer to achieve your goals and objective. If you have courage and determination to achieve your goals then success will be surely yours”.
