Govt of Pakistan soon launched moon-sighting app

The government of Pakistan will soon going to launch a mobile application for moon-sighting, to halt the moon sighting controversy in the country.

Govt of Pakistan soon launched moon-sighting appFederal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry disclosed that a scientific committee constitutes that will provide a ten-year calendar to point out the exact dates of Islamic festivals, including Ramadan, Eid Al Fitr, Eid Al Azha and Muharram will be finalized by the Ramadan 15.

Pakistan still owned supremacy in the field of ‘space science‘ in Muslim world. Keeping in line, the government is strengthening large science and research institutions in the country by doing such pilot initiatives.

The scientific approach is a neutrally rational way to resolve the matter and should have been implemented much sooner moon-sighting app as is being done for years in most majority-Muslim countries.
