Fawad has made this special promulgation on his personal Twitter account, actually. The Coronavirus testing kits have been manufactured by the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST).
The federal minister showed a gesture of happiness over this and he congratulated the scientists behind this big achievement. This indeed is a big accomplishment for the country.
He further said that there is one beneficial factor achieved along with the approval of the locally made Coronavirus testing kits, that is it would help in the reduction of the import bill and the test’s costs. The country will no longer have to import kits from countries abroad or wait for funds from first world countries either.
It is also equally important to mention here that NUST has also manufactured its own hand sanitizers and drones.
On the other hand, the government of Punjab has taken the firm decision to finally reimpose a strict lockdown in Lahore after there has been a rapid surge in the Coronavirus cases. Although, the final approval would be given by the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan after making certain consultations and meetings regarding the aforementioned achievement with the National Command and Operation Centre.
