Speaking to a delegation from DigitalOcean that had come to visit him, led by its CEO, Yancy Spruill, the president said that creating a favourable environment would entail inviting and facilitating foreign investment in the IT sector as well as turning the youth bulge into knowledgeable human resources for the nation’s large-scale entry into the rapidly expanding international IT market.

In order to build a well-integrated and functional IT ecosystem in Pakistan, the president stated that both the federal and provincial levels needed to demonstrate a high level of commitment, make the right decisions at the right time, and implement policies and decisions on a time-line basis.
By further enhancing the investment climate and providing quick but high-quality IT computer programming, artificial intelligence, and computing skills to a massive youth bulge that was already contributing to the growth and advancement of the IT sector in the country, this would help fully capitalise on the vibrancy of the youth and improve Pakistan’s IT exports.
The president emphasised the need for the bureaucracy to support all investors, including foreign-based, well-established, and reputable IT firms and companies. He urged the bureaucracy to help investors by keeping their doors open, extending a warm welcome, and assisting them in meeting procedural requirements on a timely basis.
According to President, the government is concentrating on reviewing the entire educational system of the nation in order to change it from a non-market to a market-oriented system by teaching graduates market-oriented knowledge, techniques, and skills to enable them to be quickly absorbed in the market and play their role in the development of the country.
