STAFF REPORT LHR: Dr. Rafiq-ul-Hassan Usmani, Member (Animal Sciences) PARC, urged the livestock experts to revise the curricula and quality education for the Para Veterinary Staff in the country in order to provide better health and animal husbandry services to the livestock owners.
He said this while addressing at inaugural session of National Workshop on “Present Status and Future Prospects of Para Veterinary Education in Pakistan recently held at PARC HQs, Islamabad.
PARC organized workshop on “Present Status and Future Prospects of Parra Veterinary Education in Pakistan” in collaboration with the Agricultural Foundation of Pakistan. The purpose of the workshop was to analyze the present status and future prospects of Para Veterinary Education in the country. The exports from various parts of Pakistan participated in the workshop who gave their presentations in the workshop to share knowledge and experience.
Subsequently, in depth deliberations and discussion were also held. In the light of discussions, various recommendations were formulated in order to improve the present para-veterinary education system in the country.
The recommendations of this workshop shall be forwarded to all provinces for comments before finalization and implementation in the country.
