PSEB Invites Applications for London Tech Week 2024

The primary objective behind this initiative is to provide Pakistani IT firms with a remarkable opportunity to showcase their prowess on an international platform.

Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB) has initiated the application process for IT companies interested in participating in the 11th edition of London Tech Week, a prestigious global event spotlighting technology and innovation. In partnership with the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDA), PSEB is set to lead 16 Pakistani companies to the grand stage of London Tech Week 2024, hosting the Pakistan Pavilion across a sprawling 72-square-meter area.

The primary objective behind this initiative is to provide Pakistani IT firms with a remarkable opportunity to showcase their prowess on an international platform. To encourage wider participation, PSEB is extending a 49% subsidy, making it more financially viable for companies to partake. The deadline for applications has been set for April 15, 2024.

London Tech Week, scheduled from June 10 to 14 at Olympia London, stands as a premier gathering attracting representatives from over 90 nations. This event serves as a focal point for the global tech community, fostering dialogues on investment, innovation, and talent within the UK tech sector.

The week-long extravaganza offers a fertile ground for innovators, investors, and industry leaders to immerse themselves in a myriad of offerings and contribute to shaping the trajectory of technology.

During the previous edition of London Tech Week in 2023, Pakistani IT firms, including Allzone Technologies, Invozone, Mercurial Minds, Purelogics, Datics, Graphite, and P@SHA Connect, seized the spotlight, showcasing their capabilities and affirming their potential to redefine the technological landscape.

These Pakistani entities seized various opportunities for collaboration, joint ventures, and software development services, engaging with tech stalwarts from across the globe. Furthermore, they inked Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) with startup incubators, cybersecurity firms, organizations seeking app development services, Internet of Things (IoT) enterprises, and providers of staff augmentation solutions.

In a significant stride, Ignite National Technology Fund participated actively in London Tech Week 2023, unveiling six promising startups hailing from its diverse National Incubation Centers (NICs). These startups, namely Xylexa (NIC Islamabad), CricFlex (NIC Islamabad), EyeSmarty (NIC Peshawar), CalCart Technologies (NIC Islamabad), Gridizen (NIC Karachi), and SLOSH AI Solutions (NIC Islamabad), showcased their innovative solutions, garnering attention and acclaim on the global stage.

With the upcoming edition of London Tech Week 2024 on the horizon, Pakistani IT firms are poised to capitalize on this unparalleled platform to showcase their ingenuity, foster collaborations, and establish themselves as key players in the global tech arena.
