The Shaheed Allah Buksh Soomro (SABS) University of Art, Design and Heritages, Jamshoro, organised a three-day design exhibition at the university’s communication department.

The exhibition drew guests from SABSU, Jamshoro universities, and individuals from various walks of life.
A visitor from the Hyderabad district exclaimed, “I am very pleased to see the innovative design products which are displayed in the exhibition.”
The exhibition was opened by Prof. Dr. Arabella Bhutto, Vice-Chancellor of SABS University. 37 students from the second and fourth years of school participated in the exhibition, which was overseen by professors Mumtaz Ali Mangi, Razaullah Abbasi, and Muhammad Zaman Bhutto. The students’ projects were based on activities and product campaign designs.
“I also wanted to improve my art and design skills, but such opportunities are hard to find in our society,” a third-year student from a nearby university said. Exhibitions like this one, organised by SABSU, are beneficial for everyone, not just design students and professionals.
The projects on display at the exhibition were in line with a variety of themes, including the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations.
The projects included jinga lala, Rabri wala, Shikarpuri Achaar, eco life, trash can, art work board, wings of dreams, choose your department to show your interest, survey road, fem care, cure corner, connective corner, data map, questionnaire, photo booth, and info rack.
Speaking to the students The vice chancellor of SABS University expressed her astonishment at the students’ performances and creative ideas, which convey the idea that they pay close attention to societal problems and develop and present creative solutions.
According to her, student projects are market-focused and will be displayed at a high level so that professionals in various industries can learn about their talent and branding skills. The students’ creative approach to offering solutions to societal issues is admirable.
