The Hashoo Foundation has always placed a priority on education and the childhood development because it is a knowledge-based and impact-oriented organisation. In this regard, the Hashoo Foundation hosted a stakeholder gathering in Upper Dir as part of its USAID-funded Education Quality Improvement Project.
The gathering of educators, administrators, parents, representatives from civil society organisations, religious leaders, public servants, and local leaders was the goal of the convention. This offered a venue for highlighting the value of early education and encouraging in-depth discussions about how to improve educational opportunities for young learners, particularly those who are not in school.
Deputy Commissioner Mr. Gohar Zaman congratulated the Hashoo Foundation on this crucial initiative, which brought together all relevant parties to emphasise the value of early education and ensure that students had a meaningful role in their own development. He emphasised the role played by the government in promoting early childhood development and high-quality education.
“By bringing together diverse stakeholders, we aim to foster dialogue, share knowledge, and inspire collective action to ensure that every child receives a high-quality education that prepares them for a successful future,” said Ms. Ayesha Khan, country director of the Hashoo Foundation.
To ensure that no child is left behind, the participants emphasised the need for ongoing collaboration, evidence-based policies, and equitable resource distribution.
