“Partnership is a core pillar of our values, and this MoU is a great example of working collaboratively with communities we operate in,” said Mujeeb Zahur.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between S&P Global and Team up Pakistan has been signed. The initiative aims to create a long-term, mutually beneficial partnership to support, train, and upskill Pakistan’s young and aspiring entrepreneurs while also giving the youth employment opportunities.

The main goal of this partnership is to establish a long-lasting, mutually beneficial partnership to address Pakistan’s youth employment needs.

“Partnership is a core pillar of our values, and this MoU is a great example of working collaboratively with communities we operate in,” said Mujeeb Zahur, Managing Director at S&P Global.

“We are confident that this partnership will result in a number of collaborative projects that create new synergies, add strategic knowledge for upskilling talent, and ultimately support Pakistan’s economic growth and development. This is consistent with our “people first” strategy and global market-powering vision.”

The agreement specifies that S&P Global Pakistan will support and upskill entrepreneurs and students who take part in Team Up’s Career Launch Pad programme. Team Up is located at the National Incubation Center. Jazz and Team up are used by the Ministry of IT and Telecom, which is in charge of this Center, to nurture talent across Pakistan.

Teamup co-founder Zouhair Khaliq said, “I’m excited to share that S&P Global will be joining forces with us because this partnership has the potential to unleash innovation and entrepreneurship. We will open the door for a more promising future of economic growth and development thanks to their combined vision and expertise. This collaboration demonstrates our dedication to fostering the next generation of entrepreneurs and giving them the tools and support they require to be successful.”

The National Incubation Center’s Parvez Abbasi, the project director, also expressed enthusiasm for the collaboration, saying, “We are overjoyed to see Teamup and S&P Pakistan working together. This partnership will help us advance our mission of encouraging innovation and entrepreneurship in our community while also giving our students access to useful resources and opportunities. We think that by banding together, we can influence the direction of our economy and produce long-term value for all parties involved.”
