The 16th Singapore International Energy Week (SIEW) 2023’s theme, “Energy Transition Toward a Net Zero World,” was unveiled by the Energy Market Authority (EMA).

Singapore International Energy Week 2023 will bring together top energy executives from around the world to discuss the value of infrastructure, investments, and technological innovation as the world moves closer to net zero.

The event will look at the policies needed to better deploy decarbonization and electrification technologies, as well as the financing and investment gaps in the bankability of renewable and low-carbon technologies.

“Energy Transition towards a Net Zero World”, this year’s theme, will look at how we can improve and jointly create pathways for Asia and the rest of the world to hasten the transition to a net zero energy future.

Governments, multilateral organisations, and business executives need to keep strengthening regional and global cooperation to support the energy transition, particularly in Southeast Asia “said EMA’s chief executive, Ngiam Shih Chun.

The Singapore Energy Summit and the SIEW Opening Keynote Address are two anchor events that SIEW will continue to present. These events will feature energy ministers, business titans, and leaders of international organisations to discuss relevant topics in line with this year’s theme.

SIEW Energy Insights, SIEW TechTable, and SIEW Thinktank Roundtables will present information on the newest products and solutions, as well as in-depth discussions on important energy-related topics. The SIEW Energy Showcase will highlight innovations and provide visitors with information on the most recent business trends.
