The owner of JW SEZ Group and local partner of Morris Garage (MG), Javed Afridi, has come back with another car teaser. Since last year, Afridi has teased MG lovers with multiple vehicles. And now, he has shared a video of MG 6 Pro, which is a sedan car. With the tweet, he wrote ‘Soon’, hinting that the arrival of this car in Pakistan is not that far.
In the video, you can see the very chic and stylish front and rear of the car. The short clip also reveals the futuristic interior of this sedan. MG 6 Pro is a C-Segment sedan, so if MG launches it in Pakistan, it will compete with Honda Civic and Toyota Corolla. If this happens it will increase the competition in the segment as Hyundai has already launched Elantra. So, exciting times ahead?
Unveil in China:
Very interestingly, this car has just been unveiled in China earlier this month and yet to be officially launched. So, one can ask how MG Pakistan will launch it in the local market? The most probable answer is, like MG HS, the company will import CBU units of MG 6 Pro and sell them here.
However, there is nothing clear, and there is no timeline given about its possible launch in Pakistan. Our guess is not so soon because it will officially be launched in China first, then it will reach other markets. Secondly, Afridi has earlier teased several other cars, including MG 3, MG 5 and MG Gloster. However, there are no signs of their arrival in Pakistan, anytime soon.
As per our sources, right now, MG HS, MG ZS and MG ZS EV are the only confirmed products by MG Pakistan, and there is no immediate plan of launching new cars by the company. So, time will tell whether MG 6 Pro will remain just a teaser or become a reality for local customers.

Overall this 3rd-Generation Pro Variant is designed for a pure sporty look. The front huge black grille is the first design update and a sporty front lip and super sleek headlights. The car’s colour is ‘Bubble Orange and was mixed especially for MG 6 Pro.
Last but not least, the price will be announced later in China. Hence, no guesses for it. In conclusion, keep your fingers crossed, and start waiting for another MG vehicle.
