As for the cancellation of the Keystone pipeline, I am very disappointed. I would much rather have a pipeline than tons of railroad cars on the rails and semis on the roads full of flammable fuel.
Keystone XL pipeline halted as Biden revokes permit, Jan. 20
We should not be surprised about this. U.S. President Joe Biden made the cancellation of Keystone a priority in his platform if he were to be elected. For my part, I am relieved Biden appears to be a man of integrity who keeps his word.
As for the cancellation of the Keystone pipeline, I am very disappointed. I would much rather have a pipeline than tons of railroad cars on the rails and semis on the roads full of flammable fuel. We still need fuel for our cars, homes, buildings, etc., as an interim form of energy until we get truly green energy.
Hopefully this is a big motivator for our government to invest big in Alberta, with geothermal energy, solar energy and wind energy.
One window has closed, but maybe we can now open many windows for renewable green energy for the future.
