MG Motors is launching its lineup of SUVs for the Pakistanis. Shanghai-based state-owned automotive SAIC Motor owns the Morris Garages (MG) Motor UK Limited. Earlier Javed Afridi, JW Auto Park owner signed an MoU with the British automaker to launch electric vehicles in Pakistan.
According to the report, MG Motors will be introducing MG HS, MG ZS, and MG ZS EV SUVs in Pakistan.
The HS comes with a 1.5L GDI Turbo-Charged engine, producing 160hp with maximum 250NM torque at 1,500-4,400RPM. Internationally, the car comes in four variants mated with a 6-speed manual and 7-speed auto transmissions.
Similarly, the ZS EV comes with a 44.5kwh battery, producing a maximum 141hp at 350NM torque. This car comes with an auto CVT transmission. According to the company, ZS can travel up to 262 kilometers in a single charge.
Both HS and ZS EV come with LED Daytime Running Lights, Rear Parking Sensors, LED Centre Brake Light, and Bi-Function Project Headlights. Moreover, these cars have rear and front aero wipers and electrically adjustable and body-color side mirrors.
