The GIST Catalyst Competition 2019 began at the GES (Global Entrepreneur Summit) in Hague, Netherlands where 17 countries from around the world take part.
Among the 17 countries and 30 finalists Pakistan is one of them. A Pakistani based healthcare startup Azaad Health has won the award for “Outstanding Entrepreneur from an Emerging Economy.”
Syed Abrar from Pakistan, of ‘Azaad Health’ who aims to empower patients by providing them the health data exchange network built on blockchain from various disrupts healthcare industries.
This healthcare startup will let people view and monitor their and their loved ones complete health in one place. Moreover, the users can also securely share their health profile with other hospitals and doctors.
At GES 2019 Pakistan will refine its pitches by showcasing the potential business on global stage surrounding around the five key industries in which the Pakistan will compete: agriculture and food, connectivity, energy, health, and water.
