Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal grant 50 scholarships to AUST

Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal (PBM) and Abbottabad University of Science and Technology (AUST) inked a MoU to provide 50 scholarships to the brainy and deprived students of AUST.  

Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal grant 50 scholarships to AUSTManaging Director PBM Aoun Abbas Pammi and Vice Chancellor AUST Professor Dr. Iftikhar Ahmed signed agreement to bear all educational operating cost of the beneficiaries’ students.

The honorable guest addressed at the seminar entitled as “Using Technology to Deliver Social Protection Exploring Opportunities and Risks”.

The MD PBM Aoun Abbas Pammi said to avail the complete amenities from the upper authorities, a lay man must be aware of their rights; a large number of people does not know their rights and how to gain them.

Government has started using modern technologies and many departments’ commenced programs and PBM has also taken steps towards this direction.

“We have started several projects for the deserving students and initially we are providing scholarships to the 50 students of the university,” Aoun Abbas said.

Guest of honor, KP Minister for food Service Qalandar Khan Lodhi while addressing said this is a substance of immense pleasure and satisfaction that AUST has transformed into an established university during a very short span of time under the leadership of Dr. Iftikhar.

VC Professor Dr. Iftikhar Ahmed thanked MD Baitul Mal and Minister for Food for gracing the seminar and said provision of scholarship to the deserving students would encourage them.

He also urged MD Baitulam to increase scholarships and make simpler the process, so more and more students attain the quality education besides of their hurdles.
