International Conference on Microbes for Sustainable Agriculture an exploration into the interactive world of microbes and plants organized by Forman Christian College, a Chartered University, Lahore Pakistan from March 25th – 28th, 2019 in collaboration with PSF, HEC, ECSOF,PARB & AvH.
The conference aimed to bring together international and national experts to review the status of soil microbial ecology and its impact on sustainable agriculture.
The theme of international symposium is to negotiate about Plant microbiome, Microbiome in agriculture, Interaction of Plant microbe, Microbe – Microbe interaction, Soil microbe interaction,
Microbes and plant diseases, Microbial metabolites and plant growth, Microbial formulations and the last o talk about is Plants, microbes and extreme environment.
A microbe is very general term is that is used to illustrate many different types of life forms, with dramatically different sizes and characteristics confer to the environment.
FCCU Rector Dr James Tebbe, who recently has been awarded with Sitara-e-Imtiaz, highly praised the efforts of organizing committee for making participation possible from different countries saying that science should be beyond borders and inter-culture and interfaith linkages should be developed through such conferences.
Along with 30 national speakers from 15 different cities of Pakistan, including Tandojam, Mardan, Mansehra and Quetta; eight international speakers from USA, Canada, Turkey, China, Germany and Saudi Arabia will give presentations on their work and share their expertiseto bolster the skills ahead.
