Pakistan will highlight establishment of a permanent set-up for protecting snow leopards in Pakistan at the Bishkek Summit, said Mushahidullah Khan, Federal Minister for Climate Change.

Aban Marker Kabraji that is the Regional Director of International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) called to minister at Ministry of Climate Change for a talk.

Mushahidullah Khan further said that Islamic teachings should be used to highlight climate change. For its projects IUCN has assured its full support, he confirmed.

Aban appreciated the efforts for increasing mangroves forests in coastal areas by Pakistan Navy. She also assured for snow leopard protection to set up a permanent office in Pakistan.

She also highlighted that the whole world is focused more on environmental issues associated with oceans so, Pakistan should also focus on oceans. She called upon to speed up the implementation of Sustainable Forest Mangroves that is a collaboration of IUCN.
