STAFF REPORT LHR: The Punjab Education Foundation (PEF) has rolled out an exclusive android based mobile application to identify out-of-school children in a ceremony held recently. The app is called as Mujhay School Bhaijain and is a freeware available on Google Play Store and also on the PEF`s website. The application is one of the variables in education for all moto that education is the fundamental right of every individual and its access must be to everyone. This app will help to identify those underprivileged children who remain out of the education net in normal circumstances.
Chairman PEF, Qamar ul Islam Raja said during the launching ceremony of the app, “Technology has played a major role in resolving socio-economic problems and this app is sequel of its contributions in education sector. A modern system has been designed to ensure that no child remains deprived of education. I request all the citizens to download the app and upload data of underprivileged children so that we reach them out”.
This app can be the game changer but ample of the work has to be done by the civil society as well in listing the data and creating the database so individuals can create a big change through their gadgets by using this app and serving for a bigger cause.
