STAFF REPORT ISB: A meeting regarding the restructuring and reorganisation of Pakistan Council for Renewable Energies Technologies (PCRET) and National Institute of Electronics has recently been held at the Ministry of Science and Technology in the chair of Federal Minister Zahid Hamid.
On the occasion, PCRET Director General Dr Khalid Islam and NIE acting DG Abdul Aleem Asghar briefed the members of the meeting about the ongoing progress about their respective organisations.
Speaking on the occasion the minister said that the prime objective of the government is to reorganise, humanise and restructure the science and technology organisations to change the whole eco system of research and innovation in the country.
He stressed that the non-technical staff should be reduced and technical staff will be increased.
