STAFF REPORT IBD: Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Tassaduq Hussain Jillani has sought the follow-up reports from Chairman CDA on dumping of solid waste in the foothills of Margalla.
The Chief Justice gave these orders during the recent course of hearing of notice taken by him on media reports that regarded to dumping of solid waste of the city by CDA in the foothills of Margalla
Later, the DG CDA submitted the report saying plan have been evolved for dumping the solid waste. The site will be levelled and decontaminated at a later stage. A thick layer of fertile soil will also be laid out and tree plantation will be carried out.
