STAFF REPORT ISB: The government has approved Rs 133 million for the National Transmission and Dispatch Company (NTDC) to conduct feasibility study for enhancing its transmission capacity of 500 kV transmission network.

Pakistan will benefit from this project in a way that it includes 750 kilometers High Voltage DC line from Sangtuda to Kabul (Afghanistan) to Peshawar (Pakistan) and 1300 MW DC-AC Convertor Station at Peshawar.
