STAFF REPORT ISB: The UNIDO and NUST have agreed to foster entrepreneurship in clean technology innovation in Pakistan, where both the organizations are already working on capacity building of national engineering universities, RandD Institutes and local manufacturers of biomass gasifiers.
Both the organisations discussed multiple areas of collaboration.
This will help further strengthen the partnership between the two organisations particularly, in the areas of Energy, Environment and its related facets.
“NUST role is remarkable in national development, and industrial development is not possible without the academias contribution,” said UNIDO DG Li Yong.
He further expressed that economic growth is driven by entrepreneurship, as well as by economic diversification, increasing industrial upgrading and tech innovation.
