He firmly believes that “R&D is the backbone of any country.” As an intergovernmental international science organization with a mandate to promote Science, Technology, and Innovation via South-South Cooperation in the global South, COMSATS’ permanent secretariat in Islamabad actively supports local scientists and facilitates the commercialization of their innovative projects.
