A prestigious member of NUST, the Pakistan Navy Engineering College team, made an enduring impression at the prestigious Formula Student UK 2023 competition at Silverstone Circuit.
This team won the FS Class, the main competition where teams compete with the cars they have built and designed, outlasting every other South Asian team in the fierce Formula Student UK 2023 competition.
With participation from more than 100 teams worldwide, Formula Electric Racing-NUST displayed exceptional commitment and talent, earning commendable rankings throughout the competition’s various events.
One of the team’s most notable accomplishments was placing fifth out of more than 100 teams in the cost event. The only team from Pakistan and all of South Asia to advance to the Cost Event finals was Formula Electric Racing NUST. Their dedication to finding affordable solutions and careful budgeting propelled them to the front.
The team achieved a commendable 10th place in the LTS (Lap Time Simulations) Event and 41st in the design event thanks to their unwavering dedication to technical proficiency and adherence to safety regulations.
The talent of Formula Electric Racing NUST was not just technical. They demonstrated their business savvy and strategic thinking in the BPP (Business Plan Presentation) Event, placing an impressive 9th overall.
Their outstanding performance in numerous events combined to earn them an impressive 22nd place overall in the FSUK competition. This accomplishment exemplifies their dedication and determination to succeed on a global stage.
Without the assistance and leadership of its esteemed faculty members, the selfless efforts of the students, and the support of their institution & sponsors, Formula Electric Racing NUST would not have been as successful. NUST has established a high bar for aspiring motorsport engineering teams within Pakistan and abroad as the proud representatives of Pakistan Formula Electric Racing.
