Nobel Fest VI Organizing Committee Meets IT Minister

The Minister of Information Technology and Telecommunication met with the Nobel Fest VI organising committee before the event, which will take place in Islamabad.

Professor Dr. M. Iqbal Choudhary, coordinator general for COMSTECH, Mr. Maxat Kurbenov, founder and CEO of Nobel Fest, Senator Dr. Serik, deputy head of the organising committee for Nobel Fest, Professor Dr. Khalid M. Iraqi, vice chancellor of the University of Karachi, and Mr. Haris Akram, programme manager for COMSTECH were present at the meeting.

The Minister of Information Technology and Telecommunication received a briefing from the organising committee on the goals, mission, and schedule of the Nobel Fest. The minister expressed gratitude for holding the festival in Islamabad and praised its admirable goal.

He emphasised the need to put an emphasis on developing the youth of Pakistan and the OIC’s least developed nations through the acquisition of skills in the fields of science, education, IT, and the digital economy. He pledged the unwavering support of his ministry as well as the organisations included in the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication.

The theme of this year’s Nobel Fest is scientific breakthroughs and technological innovations, with an emphasis on important subjects like the future of medicine, the digitalization of education, disruptive technologies, attempts to combat climate change, and plans for socioeconomic development through science.

With an annual audience of 5,000 attendees offline and 800,000 online from more than 500 universities and 100 countries, Nobel Fest is a distinctive and one of the most influential educational and technological events.

The Nobel Fest has been an annual event since 2020, and participants over the years have included 15 Nobel Laureates, 15 breakthrough winners, illustrious experts, trailblazing innovators, leaders of international organisations, and representatives from numerous multinational corporations.

It is anticipated that several Nobel Laureates and CEOs of major tech companies will participate in the Nobel Fest event, which is scheduled to be held in Islamabad, as speakers and engage in both live and virtual studio interactions with young students from Pakistan and other OIC member states.
