Over a 1,200 square foot area, the two men arranged 3,296 saplings of an indigenous species to form the word “TAKMEEL.”
Together with Takmeel Square officials and Paksarzameen, we broke the record for the largest planted word formation. The Department of Forestry was consulted before the saplings were purchased to make sure they were appropriate for the designated area.
Participants dug, planted, and watered the plants after first drawing the word’s outline in white chalk. Throughout the procedure, impartial personnel were present to ensure that the record was set correctly.
Guinness World Records announced the new record on Tuesday. The first Pakistanis to establish a world record in this category are Tanseer and Qureshi.
Tanseer declared, “We are thrilled to have broken this world record. We hope that by doing this, other young people will be motivated to get involved in environmental conservation.
“We want to thank everyone who helped us make this project a success,” Qureshi continued. We take great pride in having represented Pakistan on a global scale.
As part of their ongoing initiatives to encourage environmental conservation, the two men now have plans to plant additional trees in Bahawalpur.

This is achieved by strategically planting different types of plants or using various colored foliage to create the desired pattern or formation.
In the case of the Bahawalpur youths, they successfully arranged plants in such a way that it formed the largest word formation ever recorded, earning them a place in the Guinness World Records. This achievement highlights their creativity, skill, and dedication in creating this impressive horticultural display.
