The Zindigi Prize, a revolutionary social entrepreneurship competition created to support the changemakers of the future, recently held a grand closing ceremony in Lahore to wrap up its first regional event.

The three-day event, which was organised by Zindigi powered by JS Bank and the University of Lahore, showcased young Pakistani entrepreneurs‘ ground-breaking concepts and enormous potential.

The Zindigi Prize, which attracted more than 300 start-ups from all over Pakistan and reached over 120 universities, sparked interest among aspiring businesspeople looking for mentorship and seed money. The goal of the competition is to propel start-ups to success by providing them with crucial tools and advice.

A breathtaking opening ceremony at the University of Lahore kicked off the event and set the scene for a three-day extravaganza. The second day was jam-packed with workshops on marketing, idea pitching, raising money, and scaling startups.

Attendees were motivated by inspirational speeches by Pakistani businesspeople, and the Speed Dating event promoted lively discussions between students and more than 20 business professionals who provided helpful feedback on the students’ start-up ideas.

The Zindigi Academia Innovation Summit featured 80 cutting-edge start-ups on its final day, bridging the gap between academia and business with ground-breaking concepts.

Dronition, OINIC, FitHer, Nonagon Solutions, Stress Saviour’s, and Inbikes stood out as the leading contenders among the competing teams. These six teams advanced to the final round by showcasing exceptional talent and creativity.

The panel of judges awarded Nonagon Solutions the Zindigi Prize after a thorough evaluation, praising their creative approach to problem-solving. FitHer and Inbikes won the positions of runners-up.

Zindigi’s Chief Officer, Noman Azhar, expressed his extreme excitement for the occasion and said, “We strongly believe in giving back to society, and Zindigi Prize allows us to fulfil that commitment by empowering our valuable assets, the Gen Z and millennials.
