It’s important to note that the Erasmus Mundus programme is a significant initiative for collaboration and mobility in higher education. The programme, which is supported by the European Union, awards scholarships to students from all over the world, allowing them to continue their studies in Europe.
The Master’s programmes that are currently supported by the European Union are listed in the Erasmus Mundus Catalogue, which is updated yearly.
The majority of these programs offer Erasmus Mundus scholarships, but some may not anymore because their funding period has ended or because they are no longer permitted to temporarily use the Erasmus Mundus name after funding has ended.
The master’s level Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters are advanced, comprehensive study programmes. An international partnership of higher education institutions created and delivered them (HEI). They involve at least three higher education institutions from three different nations, at least two of which must be EU member states and third countries affiliated with the programme (previously called Programme Countries).
