CN-PK Launch International Industry Education Cooperation Alliance

The China-Pakistan Seminar on “Internet” International Education and Industry-Education Integration, held in Beijing, saw the official launch of the alliance between China and Pakistan for international industry-education cooperation.

Moin ul Haque, the ambassador of Pakistan to China, gave a speech at the seminar, which was organised by TANG International Education Group and the Pakistani embassy in Beijing as part of the 23rd China Annual Conference & Expo for International Education. The seminar was hosted by the China Education Association for International Exchange.

“On these projects, numerous Chinese businesses are active in Pakistan. The Ambassador stated, “They need a skilled labour force, and I recently had the chance to visit some major companies in Shenzhen, China, where I was impressed by their creativity, diligence, and emphasis on employee training. In the fields of AI, computing, IoT, and big data, China has become one of the global leaders. In Pakistan, we want to imitate China’s successes “.

It has been discovered that almost 10% of Pakistani youth are jobless and lack any commercial, technical, or vocational skills. Meanwhile, China Economic Net (CEN) reported that as CPEC advances, there is an increasing need for a skilled labour force. This is the context in which the seminar was held.

According to Li Jinsong, President of TANG International Education Group, “Chinese colleges’ investment in cutting-edge global education platforms and digital curriculum resources has helped train local Pakistani teachers and provided a sizable number of scholarships and living allowances for the poorest students in Pakistan to access learning and life-changing opportunities.”

In the same vein, the China-Pakistan International Industry-Education Cooperation Alliance will make it possible, in its subsequent work, to pursue further education and employment opportunities in China as well as the introduction of 210 Chinese Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) disciplines to Pakistan, the establishment of 36 TVET excellence centres, the provision of international courses, and other related activities.
