Sony will need something special to fill the hole left by one of the most recent and best-selling Final Fantasy games for its next PS Now update. NEW PS4 games are added to the streaming service each month, and there are usually more games being added than leaving.

This month, it’s the turn of Square Enix to remove Final Fantasy 15, with Sony providing something new, with subscribers hoping for another PS4 first-party exclusive. 2020 was a great year for exclusives popping up on PlayStation Now, and it will tough to be the likes of Horizon Zero Dawn, Marvel’s Spider-Man and Days Gone.

In 2021, Detroit: Become Human became the latest first-party console exclusive to arrive on PlayStation Now, and here’s the official description for those who haven’t played it yet:

“Detroit 2038. Technology has evolved to a point where human-like androids are everywhere. They speak, move and behave like human beings, but they are only machines serving humans.“ Play three distinct androids and see a world at the brink of chaos – perhaps our future – through their eyes. Your very decisions will dramatically alter how the game’s intense, branching narrative plays out.

“You will face moral dilemmas and decide who lives or dies. With thousands of choices and dozens of possible endings, how will you affect the future of Detroit and humanity’s destiny?”

“Shape an ambitious branching narrative, where your decisions not only determine the fate of the three main characters, but that of the entire city of Detroit. How you control Kara, Connor and Markus can mean life or death – and if one of them pays the ultimate price, the story still continues.”

And it won’t be long before we find out what will be joining Detroit: Become Human in March 2021.

Sony is expected to announce the replacement for Final Fantasy 15 in the coming days, alongside at least two other games.

A new Indie title will also be available to download, with Dead Cells being replaced by Little Nightmares on February 2021.

PS Now is a streaming-only service, so none of these games will need to be downloaded and installed onto your console.

It should also be noted that PS Now can also be accessed via a PC by simply downloading the official app and having a compatible controller to hand.

When it comes to the next PS Now games reveal in 2021, Sony is expected to share the news on Tuesday, March 2, 2021.

Previous months have seen earlier reveal dates chosen, so there’s always a chance for a surprise over the weekend too.

This is the same day that the new PS Plus games will be released onto the PlayStation Store, with plenty of new games to choose from.
