A three day under theme “All Pakistan Science Fair 2020” was arranged by GIKI Science Society at Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology.
Students from different universities and colleges/schools participated and displayed their skills and projects in All Pakistan Science Fair 2020.
The organizers told about the basic objectives of the All Pakistan Science Fair 2020 were to motivate students to focus on science creativity and to encourage them to take interest in scientific field.
Organizers further added that Science Fair arranged by GIKI Science Society gave the students the opportunity to learn from each other in addition to exchange ideas and knowledge. This also develops their technological skills that facilitate them to know about the present world being competitive and how they prepare themselves for the contribution towards progress and development of the country.
One of the participants said on the occasion that the countries that invested in science and technology and lured their youngsters into these productive fields have made remarkable progress and become economically prosperous.
The modules included in the fair were designed to judge the capability of the students in the field of science and technology, how should they achieve when they were given a specific task and how work in a competitive environment while focusing on achieving their objectives.
President of the society Muneeb ur Rahman, said that the students, who participated in the fair, were exposed to various fields of science.
Trophies and certificates were awarded to the teams for outstanding performance.
