The British Council, Pakistan has set up its digital library at Tech Valley Abbottabad. The launch ceremony was attended by Rosemary Hilhorst – Country Director, British Council Pakistan.

British Council Digital Library inaugurates at Tech Valley Abbottabad

She expressed her immense pleasure to be at Tech Valley Abbottabad and wish to have more small same enterprises across Pakistan to expand the momentum, energy, innovation, and empowerment of community.

She appreciated the collaboration and the work of Tech Valley in different domains, such as: IELTS Exams, Teachers Training, Digital Training, and English Language programs. Ms. Hilhorst has assured continuous support of British Council in opening more avenues.

The inauguration of the British Council Digital Library will strengthen the cultural ties between UK and Pakistan. Moreover, it will serve as a hub for the continuing efforts to create educational opportunities, knowledge sharing and fostering a learning environment where creativity and innovation are valued.

It will really help to build the capacity of teachers, students, youth, entrepreneurs and innovators which is one of the primary goals of Tech Valley Abbottabad.

Abbas Khan, Director, Tech Valley talking on the occasion said, “We appreciate British Council’s investment and time for continuous cultural development of Pakistan. This is indeed a landmark in the history of Abbottabad where people will get an opportunity to learn, connect and innovate”.
