PR:  Jinnah University recently visited the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FPCCI) along with the final year students of Departments of Computer Science, Business Administration and Biotechnology. The meeting was scheduled on 30th January, 2018, to discuss the potential startup ideas of the students of JUW. Dr. Rashida Rahmat Zohra, Director ORIC JUW, Ms. Urooj Aijaz, Manager JUBIC, Ms. Maria, Department of Business Administration and Mr. Umair Ahmed Khan, Manager Linkage Industry and Marketing, ORIC JUW, had a healthy discussion on providing maximum facilities to the students to get into the market with their startup ideas.

They also discussed the barriers and their possible solution that may be adopted to run the program efficiently. Students presented their idea to Ms. Sayyeda Saeeda Bano, Vice President FPCCI and Ms. Asfiha Paracha, Chairperson for Marketing and Communication Committee (Sindh Region) FPCCI.

Presented projects include Nursery 4D, Driod Crime, Intangible Assistance, Intellectual Wheelchair, I-Secure, Vision Detector and JUW SIS VR (Virtual tour). The Vice President FPCCI appreciated the efforts of students and their brilliant FYP ideas and ensured complete support from her organization in pitching the ideas in to the market or providing linkages to the relevant companies.

Dr. Rashida and the FPCCI representatives showed their interest in establishing collaboration and MoU in the context of improving industry linkages and new job opportunities for JUW students.
