Six students from Pakistan are taking part in the FIRST Global Challenge robotics competition at Washington DC by a press release from US Embassy.

The statement said that Pakistani will collaborate with teams across the world to accomplish engineering tasks focused on access to clean water”.

Ali Syed, mentor gone with the team said that after winning Let’s Innovate competition, students had actively preparing to take part in competition for weeks.

“This is an honor to represent Pakistan at international level to show passion and talent for problem solution through robotics,” Syed said.

Before departure Jonathan Pratt American Embassy Chargé d’ Affaires met the team and encouraged them to actively join forces with US and other 160 countries.

“I hope that you will avail this opportunity for sharing ideas about using robotics for solving problem faced by US, Pakistan, and other nations across the world”, said Pratt.
