“Launch of a task force of nine mobile science lab testify this resolution “Science Talent Farming Scheme” (STFS), he said while addressing closing ceremony of weeklong Summer Camp for 2nd Batch of 300 students of the Development Project.

The occasion was graced by the dignitaries like Prof Ahsan Iqbal, Federal Minister for Planning, Development and Reforms, Fazal Abbas Maken, Federal Secretary, Ministry of S&T, Prof Dr. Muhammad Ashraf, Chairman Pakistan Science Foundation (PSF), Jamil Qureshi, Project Director STFS, scientists, teachers, and students.

The fleet of nine Mobile Labs at Pakistan Science Foundation was inaugurated by Rana Tanveer Hussain, Federal Minister for Science, and Technology (S&T) and Prof Ahsan Iqbal, Federal Minister for Planning, Development, and Reforms.

These will travel to schools in far and remote areas of the to ease them with their well-equipped labs. Regardless of all the problems and obstacles government has with stand for strong and prosperous Pakistan S&T Minister said.

For him, Science Talent Farming Scheme is a moment of satisfaction in a hope to produce better scientist in the country. Formation of National Science School id in progress Minister said.

Ahsan Iqbal, Federal Minister for Planning, Development, and Reforms, said that Pakistan Science Foundation should award students for writing best innovation and science research articles each year. This can increase the quest for knowledge among students.

The government intended to make Pakistan among the top 25 economies of the world under vision 2025 and STFs can give shape to this dream he further added.

“Education is the best asset of any nation. He urged that students must come up in the frontline in the field of science and technology to make prosperous and developed Pakistan. Self-belief and change in thinking can bring this change in country”, said Federal Secretary for S&T Fazal Abbas Maken.
