STAFF REPORT IBD: The Waseela Microfinance Bank (WMBL), in partnership of Mobilink, has launched its branchless banking in Pakistan in order to extend more service benefits to its customers across the country.

“The Bank plans to introduce mass-market financial products for providing more choices and benefits to the people, which include Cash Deposit and Withdrawal, Fund Transfer from Account-to-Account and Person-to-Person, Mobilink Top Ups and Utility Bill Payment amongst other services,” says a statement issued by the Bank.

Mobilinks nationwide customer base covering over 36 million Pakistanis provides the platform to offer WMBLs range of innovative mobile financial services. The benefits of this partnership for WMBL are further augmented by Mobilinks distribution network, strong brand equity and the Mobilinks customers place in its services.
