NUST exhibit R&D projects at defence security exhibition

A prominent higher education in Pakistan ‘NUST’ takes part in a two-day long national seminar & exhibition on ‘Defence Production – Security through Self Reliance’ to exhibit their R&D projects at the event.

NUST the only institution from academia showcased the indigenous defence products that fulfill the need of Pakistan Armed Forces and lessen the burden on national exchequer.

Minister for Defence Production Zobaida Jalal and Minister for Science & Technology Chaudary Fawad Hussain visited the NUST exhibition booth and appreciated the university’s R&D-based contributions to the socioeconomic development of Pakistan.

Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa also visited the NUST booth. Lt Gen (r) Naweed Zaman HI(M), rector, briefed COAS on the National Science & Technology Park (NSTP) and its role in bridging the gap between industry and academia.

Minister for Science and technology also esteemed NUST’s National Science & Technology Park (NSTP)  initiative and its significance in promoting technology-based innovation.

The National University of Science and Technology (NUST) has achieved significant milestones and gained massive significance as an institution of higher education in Pakistan.
