Online degree verification system based on blockchain technology has been launched by the NED University of Engineering and Technology for the very first time in Pakistan.
The competent, reliable, time and cost effective system was inaugurated by Ms Ava Ardeshir Cowasjee and acting regional director of Higher Education Commission Hakim Ali Talpur at the university campus.
The system developed in-house with the technical support of Block Shift Technologies (a start-up of the NED University Alumni) will help degree verification using Ethereum platform (an authenticated public blockchain) through a unique ID from anywhere in the world.
With this efficient system, a degree could be verified within seconds and from any corner of the world which would not cost any penny.
Moreover, to attain the higher education attestation of degrees becomes stumbling block but through this blockchain data technology the dilemma trounce.
Many foreigner universities are using this cutting edge technology to ease the workload of administration and find effective. Keeping all these amenities, the NED alumni developed this ground-breaking high-tech system in Pakistan.
