Agricultural University Faisalabad is the first university among government universities to successfully continue online education and research experiments during the COVID-19 epidemic, but also in midterm examinations. 94.6% students have participated and played a vital role in ensuring its success. This was stated by the Vice Chancellor of the Agricultural University, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ashraf while presiding over the meeting of the Graduate Study Research Board.

He said that in view of the current situation, online examinations are essential to continue the teaching process and that is why in order to make it successful, mock tests were conducted along with training of teachers at different stages. Different options were given keeping in view the problems of the students as a result of which 94.6% students participated which is a very large number.

He said that a plan of action was being prepared for the remaining students so that they too could be included in the journey. He said that in view of the current situation, the theses of postgraduate students would be received online. He said that the purpose of this initiative is to provide facilities to the students. It was decided at the meeting that the collection of GS10 would also be done online while the students who failed to submit their GS10 forms have been allowed to submit their forms till June 26 with late fee.

The meeting directed the IT team to work harder to streamline their existing system for final examinations. The Vice Chancellor also commended the IT staff, faculty and support staff for conducting a successful midterm examination.
