Electronic-Arts-Launches-25-Games-on-Steam

Later this summer, Electronic Arts is set to launch their EA Access subscription service on Steam. Before that happens, the publishing giant has released over 25 games on the PC platform today.

“We want to make it easy to play the games you love, wherever you want to play. Delivering games to the Steam community is an important step in achieving this goal,” said Mike Blank, SVP, Strategic Growth. “Not only are we excited to have our games on Steam, but we look forward to bringing them even more value when our subscription becomes available in the Summer.”

As of today, Electronic Arts games like Dragon Age: Inquisition, Dragon Age II,Need for Speed Heat,Need for Speed: Rivals and Need for Speed (2016), Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville, Mirror’s Edge 1 & 2along with EA indies like UnravelUnravel IIFe andSea of Solitude and plenty more are all available to individually purchase on Steam.

However, this new partnership isn’t exclusive only existing titles. New EA games are set to release on Steam, along with consoles and their own Origin platform. Previously, PC gamers were only able to play EA games via Origin.

The first of the new EA games to reach Steam will actually be a remaster. Tomorrow Command & Conquer Remastered Collection launches. The RTS game will provide mod support with the Steam Workshop. The compilation is comprised of Command & Conquer: Tiberian Dawn, Command & Conquer: Red Alert and their three expansion packs – Covert Ops, Counterstrike and The Aftermath.
