Pakistan Telecommunication Authority celebrates world telecom day on May 17. Director PTA highlighted the role of the authority in different sectors of the country.
Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) Chairman Major General (R) Amir Azeem Bajwa said that telecommunication authority is trying to reshape the country by bringing innovations in the information and communication technologies. In a message on World Telecom Day, being seen on May 17, he stated, Pakistan’s telecom part had become a good example for different divisions in reshaping the monetary fate of the individuals.
“This sector will keep on assuming a significant job in the present decade towards the accomplishment of SDGs,” he included. The administrator said the importance of ICT systems had never been as articulated and essential to our wellbeing, prosperity, and invigorating financial development as were during the coronavirus (COVID-19) emergency.
The PTA, he stated, had been effectively assuming its job enhancing government’s endeavors by successfully utilizing advanced innovations for open mindfulness, checking the spread of COVID-19 through following, track and isolate (TTQ), encouraging finances distributing to the poor through Ehsaas Program, and managing public donations in Prime Minister’s COVID-19 Relief Fund through short messaging service (SMS).
