Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication said the net foreign direct investment (FDI) has increased to US $491.3 million during the initial nine months of the financial year 2019-20.

The Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication (MoITT) said that the net foreign direct investment (FDI) in data and correspondence segments had surged to the US $491.3 million during the initial nine months of the financial year 2019-20 (July-March).

According to the press release, the MoITT guaranteed that the hop was seen because of its comprehensive advances that included arrangement mediations.

On the directions of the Federal Minister for IT and Telecommunication, the Ministry of IT and Telecommunication has made a number of strides, including strategy mediations that contributed both legitimately and in a roundabout way in the economy and national exchequer.

Referring to the State Bank of Pakistan report, the service said net FDI in the data and correspondence parts from July 2019 to March 2020 was the US $ 491.3 million when contrasted with the negative net FDI of US $ 113.7 million during the relating time of the fiscal year 2019-20.

The MoITT had assumed a significant job with respect to its advancement and the Telecom industry and embraced facilitative methodology towards it. It directed normal coordination with the business to acquire target input for arranging and strategy plans. Service of IT had additionally solid coordination with open division partners for the advancement of the ICT area of Pakistan.
