GO to Introduce electric charging facilities

Gas & Oil Pakistan Ltd. (GO) was introduced by experienced Oil & Gas sector businessmen who have over 40 years of experience in the downstream petroleum business.

They are extremely confident about making a difference in the country’s petroleum marketing sector based on their knowledge and experience.

They have a goal to translate this into the success of GO, which is deliberately involved in oil marketing, storage, transportation & supply operations.

They get assistance from a core team of experienced personnel from the petroleum industry as well as new entrants who are being groomed in various specialties within the company.

Now GO is going to launch charging facilities and will stand first in the row of petroleum companies who pave the way to bring electric vehicles

The first of these EV chargers, manufactured by ABB Italy, the Swiss-Swedish multinational, has been installed at GO’s Company Owned & Operated Outlet, COCO-3 near the Expo Centre in Lahore. This was announced by Zeeshan Tayyeb, Chief Operating Officer, GO.

As a responsible corporate entity, GO aims to be at the forefront of taking initiatives for the environment. EVs are making an entry into Pakistan and GO’s EV chargers will provide freedom to travel wherever our customers want to go while using this environmentally friendly mode of transport, stated Khalid Riaz, Chairman & CEO, GO.

Talking to GO customers at the inauguration event, Ammar Ali Talaat, Chief Strategy & Business Development Officer stated that GO plans to roll out EV chargers at key sites across the network including motorways and major national highways so that EV owners can travel through Pakistan without range anxiety, knowing that they will be able to charge at one of the GO retail outlets.
