STAFF REPORT IBD: PTCL has gained net profit of Rs 2.84 billion in its half-year earnings made during the financial year 2011-12 for the period ended on December 31, while also showing a growth of 7 per cent in revenue.
“PTCLs profits and revenue growth during the first half of FY2011-12 is a strong indicator of our dynamic corporate direction as well as our customers continued satisfaction and trust,” said PTCL CEO and President, Walid Irshaid, after a meeting of the companys Board of Directors recently held meeting.
According to the company, the group revenue stood at Rs 55 billion during the period under review, showing a growth of 6 per cent over FY2010. Of this, PTCLs net revenue was Rs 28.1 billion, showing a growth of 7 per cent over the previous financial year.
“We are constantly innovating and improving our customer experience,” Irshaid said while recounting the successes of PTCLs most recent business offerings. “We strongly believe that PTCL will remain the market leader and a service provider of choice throughout Pakistan for providing cutting-edge integrated telecom solutions to our customers.”
